A little bit of “Cocoa Heaven”

Image
We all need a little bit of cocoa heaven, Matt Williams has created just that, with his luxury handmade chocolate brand “Cocoa Heaven”. Matt is a patisserie chef located in my home town Enniskillen, in Co.Fermanagh. He creates decadent handmade chocolates, using only the finest cocoa and ingredients for his super indulgent chocolates. These are no ordinary chocolates. Matt’s choice of flavours are quite an experience. I had the chance to taste some of his luxury chocolates recently. I was wowed by the exquisite flavours and incredible craftsmanship. My favourite flavours included Golden orchid, a smooth green apple caramel, encased inside a milk chocolate dome. Nights of passion, a fragrant passion fruit caramel centre encased in a milk chocolate dome. Berry heaven, a smooth raspberry ganache encased in a rich dark chocolate heart. These chocolates are simply divine. Matt’s flavour list is growing by the day, from dark indulgent chocolate to white and milk chocolates. Matt’s brand “Coc

So it’s 2021 and we are in another lockdown, if I’m honest I’ve lost count. We all have to look after ourselves and others. Simply sending a message can brighten up anyones day. It is very important to keep the normal traditions going. Simply celebrate these events a little differently. After all these normal events such as Birthdays, Valentine’s Day, St.Patrick’s day and Easter will help us mentally deal with the pandemic. If you cannot be with your loved ones. I personally recommend that you send a message in the good old fashioned way, by sending a greetings card through the post. It’s an extra special way to show that you care.   I know a talented women, who has created a very unique and quirky greetings card business over lockdown. Has enabled her to push through boundaries during the pandemic with her new br

Mammy Mia

I love to see new local brands take their flight during these uncertain times. Local Fermanagh women, did just that. “Mammy Mia”, founder Leanna is a textiles designer who creates unique handmade designs, from her lovely home in Co.Fermanagh. The name came from her beautiful one year old daughter, who is called “Mia”. Mia was her inspiration to work from home, so there they reside together “Mammy&Mia”.  Mammy Mia was created during the first lockdown 2020. It all started when Leanna was on maternity leave and just wanted to get back to the textile industry. She started making face masks and some quirky outfits for her daughter to wear and from there her brand blossomed. Mammy Mia now specialises in capes, bibs and bonnets for babies and toddlers. She also offers a custom made service, where you can have some unique one off pieces made. Currently Mammy Mia is available to purchase online via her Facebook page and Etsy page. Locally she has been selling her designs at local Christma
